Easy Setup Process

Setting up your Opal router with Voiply Shield is incredibly easy, and I’m here to walk you through the steps:

  1. Unboxing: Open your Opal router package to find the router unit, a power adapter, and an Ethernet cable.
  2. Physical Connections: Plug the Opal router into a power outlet using the power adapter. Wait for it to start up.
  3. Wi-Fi Setup:
  • On your computer, smartphone, or tablet, search for Wi-Fi networks.
  • Connect to the network starting with “GL-SFT1200” (network name also located under the Opal router).
  • If prompted, enter the password: goodlife (all lowercase).
  1. Access the Router’s Web Interface:
  • Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.8.1/.
  • Choose your language and set a new password (remember to document it).
  1. Enable GoodCloud:
  • Login to the router’s web interface with your newly set password.
  • Navigate to “Applications” > “Remote Access” > “GoodCloud”.
  • Enable GoodCloud and Remote Web Access.
  • Select “America” under the Data Server dropdown.
  • Click “Apply” to save your settings.
